Public Health Area Comparison Tool (PHACT)

What is it?

This interactive tool allows users to quickly and easily profile any area of Wakefield district, using a very visual and easy to understand format. Users can choose between several different levels of geography within the district and they can select between a range of different comparison areas.

The 21 indicators included in the tool range from demographic information such as age, gender and ethnicity, to health related issues such as smoking prevalence, levels of physical activity and life expectancy at birth.

Who is it for?

Everyone! The tool is aimed at any level of user. You don’t need to be a stats supremo or an Excel expert in order to understand the information, as it is presented in a very user-friendly way.
