The Wakefield Observatory is Changing

Wakefield ObservatoryOver the next few months the Wakefield Observatory will be merging with the Wakefield Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) web site.  Some of the content from the old Observatory web page has been downloaded into PDF files and can be found by following the links below.

New pages have also been developed on the JSNA site – click on district Characteristics in menu above. These pages now cover a broader range of topics and will be developed further in the coming months.

If there is anything else you need from the old Observatory then it can still be accessed for a limited time by following this link.

When the merge is complete, people will be able to use a single web site for detailed data and analysis of health and social care, plus a broad range of other topics, including  the population, the economy, skills and education, housing, community safety, etc.  There will also be advances in the technology we use to keep the data up to date, and improved navigation and structure – making information easier to find.

If there was information on the old Wakefield Observatory that you can’t see below or elsewhere on the JSNA site then please contact the Wakefield Council Corporate Performance and Intelligence team at intelligence@wakefield.gov.uk and we will do our best to help.

Thank you for your patience during this transition period; we hope you’ll find the new and improved site useful when it launches fully in September 2017.
